Affixing Heads for 12" figuresSince the head is not made of a ductile soft plastic it will not snap onto the figurine's neckpost but will fit in snugly. Whilst displaying the figure, male heads can just sit on top of the neckpost. It can be temporarily fixed in position by simply inserting a small folded piece of paper between the neck and neckpost, a rubber band wrapped around the neckpost or kneading in some putty/blu-tak (provided) also works well. To permanently attach it in your preferred orientation, please do one of the following:
Please avoid banging, wetting or scratching the head. Put your figurine's head under very hot tap water or a blowdryer for a minute and then use a towel to pull off the head with a firm pull. The original plastic head can be snapped back on to return the figurine to its original state. Since the head is not made of a ductile soft plastic and neck-posts vary in designs, it will not necessarily snap onto the figurine's neckpost. You will need to first knead then insert a ball of putty/blu-tak (provided) into the head. The head can then be secured onto the figure's neck-post. This fixation can be sufficient for displaying the figure, whilst still allowing changes in the head orientation To permanently attach it in your preferred orientation, please do one of the following:
